Villa Orsolini is an ancient villa from the beginning of the 19th century, purchased by the present owner's great-grandfather. The property has been recently renovated and is arranged over two floors. On the ground floor, there is the spacious and bright living room, and the kitchen in rustic style. On the first floor there are two bedrooms, a fireplace, a large bathroom and a small service bathroom with the washing machine. All the floors are tiled in terracotta and the walls are painted with originals lime colors.
Surrounded by a garden of about 1600 square meters, completely enclosed by walls, it is the ideal place for your children to play safely, and where your pets can be left free. In the gardens there are centuries-old boxwood hedges, fruit trees and large plants. You enter the property by a gate that leads into an illuminated private avenue, surrounded by box hedges.
The shadows of the trees and the typical evening breezes ensure pleasant and cool temperatures for most of the day. In addition, the thick walls of the property allow a pleasant stay even on the hottest days of summer.
In the villa there are bicycles for guests.
The house has a gas central heating system, satellite TV and Internet Wi-Fi. In the living room is present a satellite television, books and guides. The kitchen is equipped with dishwasher, microwave oven, refrigerator, oven, kettle, coffee machine, and washing machine. In the gardens adjacent to the house there are two dinning tables, two deck chairs, and a barbecue that allows you to cook outdoors.
Villa Orsolini is located in the countryside of Lucca, in the center of the small village Meati. The village is surrounded by greenery at the foot of Mount Orma, dominated by the church of San Michele Arcangelo. The house is surrounded by nature, animal sightings are frequent, particularly several species of birds, hawks, hoopoe, Japanese Nightingale, foxes, badgers and hedgehogs. Nearby there is a breeder of farm animals, which leaves free animals in their precincts during the day, giving a characteristic note to the surrounding environment .
The surrounding places are very beautiful and allow you to walk in complete tranquility away from traffic. A few hundred meters from the Villa start many trails that allow you to explore the nearby hills, from where you can enjoy a full view of Lucca and its plain. For those who love the bike, the owner and his wife (both fans of this sport) will be happy to give you any useful informations on beautiful circuits in the area, both for mountain bikes and normal/racing bikes. In this regard, the owner will rent, at your request, bicycles of any type at specialized stores.
The Villa is close to the historical center of Lucca, located 4 kilometers away, about 5 minutes by car. Within a couple of kilometers, you will arrive at the highways entrance, which allow you to reach Florence in 50 minutes, Pisa in 30 minuts and the Versilia coast with its beaches in 20 minutes. The main shopping centers and markets are within a few minutes from the house by car. In the village of Meati, 100 meters from the house, is situated the "Antica Osteria di Meati", a small restaurant where you can taste the typical dishes of the place.

- During the period from November 15th to April 15th the heating costs (1€/mc) will be calculated according to consumption, reading the initial and final data from the gas meter. If the daily consumption exceeds 10 cubic meters, a maximum of 10 € / day will be charged.
Antica villa costruita nei primi dell'800 e acquistata dal bisnonno dell'attuale proprietario. La proprietà è stata ristrutturata di recente ed è disposta su 2 piani. Al piano terra si trova un ampio soggiorno e la cucina in stile rustico. Al primo piano si trovano le due camere da letto, il caminetto, un bagno grande e un piccolo bagno di servizio con lavatrice.
La Casa è circondata da un giardino di circa 1600 mq, completamente recintato da mura e chiuso da cancelli, è ideale per far giocare i bambini e dove i vostri animali domestici possono essere lasciati liberi. Nei giardini sono presenti vecchie siepi di bosso centenarie, alberi da frutto e grandi piante. Si accede al giardino da un cancello automatico che immette in un viale illuminato, circondato da siepi di bosso.
L'ombra degli alberi e le tipiche brezze serali garantiscono temperature fresche e piacevoli per buona parte della giornata. Inoltre, le spesse pareti della proprietà permettono un soggiorno fresco anche nei giorni più caldi dell'estate.
Nella villa ci sono delle biciclette a disposizione degli ospiti.
La casa è dotata di impianto di riscaldamento a gas metano e di connessione Internet Wi-Fi. Nel soggiorno è presente una televisione satellitare, libri, e guide turistiche. La cucina è fornita di lavapiatti, fornetto a microonde, frigorifero, piano cottura, bollitore, macchina per caffè, lavatrice. Nei giardini adiacenti alla casa vi sono due tavoli da pranzo, due lettini, e un barbecue che consente di cucinare all'aperto.
Villa Orsolini è situata nella campagna lucchese, al centro del piccolo paese “Meati”. Il borgo è immerso nel verde ai piedi del monte Orma, sovrastato dalla chiesetta di San Michele Arcangelo. La casa è circondata dalla natura, gli avvistamenti di animali sono frequenti, in particolare diverse specie di uccelli, falchetti, upupe, poiane, usignoli del Giappone, volpi, tassi e ricci. Nelle vicinanze è presente un allevatore di animali da fattoria che durante il giorno lascia liberi gli animali nei suoi recinti, dando una nota caratteristica all'ambiente circostante.
I luoghi circostanti sono molto belli e consentono di fare passeggiate in tutta tranquillità lontano dal traffico. A poche centinaia di metri iniziano dei sentieri che consentono di esplorare le colline vicine, da cui si può ammirare una visuale completa di Lucca e della sua piana. Per chi è amante della bicicletta, il proprietario e sua moglie (entrambi appassionati di questo sport) saranno felici di dare tutte le informazioni su splendidi circuiti nella zona, sia con la mountain bike sia con bici normali o da corsa. A questo proposito il proprietario potrà noleggiare, su vostra richiesta, biciclette di qualsiasi tipo presso negozi specializzati.
La villa è vicina al centro storico di Lucca, distante 4 km, circa 5 minuti in macchina. Inoltre, è possibile raggiungere facilmente gli ingressi per le principali autostrade, che si trovano a 2 km dall'abitazione, da cui è possibile raggiungere Firenze in 50 minuti, Pisa in 30 minuti e la Versilia con le sue spiaggie in 20 minuti. I principali centri commerciali sono raggiungibili in pochi minuti. Nel paese di Meati, a 100 metri dalla casa, è situata l'Antica Osteria di Meati, una piccola trattoria dove è possibile gustare i piatti tipici del luogo.
Nel periodo dal 15 novembre al 15 aprile le spese di riscaldamento (1 € / mc) verranno calcolate in base al consumo, leggendo i dati iniziali e finali dal contatore del gas. Se il consumo giornaliero supera i 10 metri cubi, verrà addebitato un massimo di 10 € / giorno.
