Drive: 10 hours from Calais on a clear run, free parking in Vallandry. (Costs about 600 return). Airports: Chambery is available in winter and is the closest (train, hire car or taxi) or Lyon or Grenoble. Snowtrain: to Landry with 10km transfer up the mountain either by taxi or by navette bus (8 Euros or free with proof of lift pass).

You do not need transport in the village as everything is walkable. The Chalet is 5 minutes on foot from all shops, bars, restaurants, ski school and the main Vallandry ski lift. There is a free navette bus system which operates between all the nearby resorts and the Cross Country Ski Circuit in the Vanoise National Park, which is great for a walk if you fancy a day off skiing.
