T2/T3 Domestic Terminal:
Follow the signs to the priority pickup zone for your uberX, uberXL or UberSELECT ride. For all other ride options, walk outside to the general passenger pickup area.
T1 International Terminal:
Follow the signs from Car Park 7 to the Express pickup area for your uberX, uberXL or UberSELECT ride.

Taxis are available 24/7 from sheltered ranks at the arrivals level atright outside the Domestic and International Terminals. During peak times, Kerbside Officers are on hand to assist.

International & Domestic Airports - catch the train to Springwood train station, changing at Central Station. The trip takes 11 mins & the trains runs every 15 mins
From Central Station catch the train to Springwood STation, The train runs hourly from Central to Springwood Train Station.
If you will be using Public Transport during your stay then purchase a OPAL CARD. It will save you up to 20% on single price paper ticket fares.
PLEASE NOTE that if topping up your OPAL CARD at the Airport that a minimum top up amount of $35 applies
An OPAL CARD can be obtained at the train station at the airport.
How OPAL CARDS work: you load money onto the card & then use it to travel on public transport instead of paying cash (trains, buses, ferries, city cats) Any money left on the card will be refunded. Just take it back to the place that you purchased the card to get your refund.
Worried about losing your card... go online to the Opal card website and register your card to protect your balance if your card is lost or stolen.

The Springwood train station is about 5mins walk from the house. There is also a bus stop just down the road from the house, on the Great Western Highway. You can head down to Penrith/Sydney or up the mountain to Katoomba. There is a shortcut from Boland Ave to the Great Western Highway & to the Train Station. This path is located in between Number 19 and Number 21 Boland Avenue. It's called the Dheran Path. As a result the walk from the house to the train station & bus stop takes no longer than about 5 mins and about 10 mins to the IGA in Springwood.
