Direct flights from most major airports in the UK to Rhodes ( Diagoras International Airport ), main carriers are Easyjet, Ryanair, Monarch, Thomson, British Airways, Aegean & Olympic Air. Off season ( Late November to late April ) Olympic & Aegean have flights via Athens. Flights and ferries from Athens to Rhodes Town. Car hire firms are aplenty - at the airport are the usual giants - Hertz, Avis etc, some local companies and AutoHolidays or Holidayautos can be booked online and are often the cheapest. There are also many Greek companies based near Pylonas - in Lindos, Pefkos, Lardos, Kiotari etc where deals can be struck in the time honoured Greek way !

A taxi ride from the airport takes about 40 mins and costs around 60 euros one way, so we feel a hire car works out better financially.
