Many airlines fly to Malta International Airport. From there you can either organise a transfer (this is by far the easiest way which I now regularly do. A number of companies do this. They will meet you at the airport and take you to the property e.g. Gozoway or Mayjo) or hire a car. If you do this you need to drive to the most northerly part of the island (Cirkewwa, 20 kms away, well signposted) and catch a ferry across to Gozo (takes 25 minutes). There are ferries every 45 minutes (see Gozo channel website for times). The ferry will take you to Mgarr and then drive from there to Gharb (6 kms) on a straight road. On entering the village there is a fork in the road, take the left (towards San Lawrenz) and the farmhouse is 50 yards in the culdesac on the right (red door, il Hoxna).
