There are currently a number of direct flights to La Palma from European cities. If you are travelling from the UK, TUI weekly direct flights from London Gatwick and in the winter months operate additionally from Manchester. It is possible to get to the island indirectly via Tenerife or Gran Canaria or Madrid using frequent internal flights or the ferry from Tenerife. The owner will be happy to advise on these . We would recommend a local car hire company which has competetive rates and which will mean you will avoid queues on arrival and they will also escort you to the villa. The owner can provide you with the hire rates and arrange a booking.

A car is recommended though there is a bus service to the nearby towns of San Pedro and Mazo. With a car you can reach most areas of the island in a matter of hours. Our villa is centrally located and there are good roads leading to the south and the north of the island and a mountain road and tunnel which can take you to the other side of the island in 45 minutes. The airport and the capital Santa Cruz are only 20 minutes away by car. If you want to go out to a nearby restaurant without a car there are a number of reliable local taxi firms.
