There are several options to get to Quito from the new airport:
1. - FREE on stays over 5 days. For shorter stays 30$ (same as a taxi.
2. - A cab about 30$ US. Always CONFIRM address and fare before getting in. About 45 minutes to get here.
3. - AERO SERVICIOS BUS : Costs $8 US. Get a map of Quito at the information counter. This bus will take you to the old airport in Quito.
There you need to take a taxi to the apartment (15 minutes away). Cost 5$US, CONFIRM address and fare before getting in. Total ride, about two hours.

We are located on the north-central part of Metropolitan Quito area . Close to main attractions by foot or in a short taxi ride, $3US. We don't recommend renting a car in the city. Traffic is hectic and parking not always available. Besides local transportation is very inexpensive. QUITO COLONIAL, 15 minutes away (2.50$ taxi ride). QUITO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT : FREE for stays over 5 days. For shorter stays : $30 US fits 4 persons, $50 up to 6 persons. about 45 minutes away. Please book in advance. Easy access to local transportation in and out of the city. Taxis 24/7.
