From Venice Marco Polo Airport you can catch the Alilaguna (the airport water bus service) directly to the city. The orange service runs on the hour and the half hour and takes 67 minutes to reach the Ca' Rezzonico stop on the Grand Canal. This means your tip to Venice starts with a cruise down most of the Grand Canal and then the it's an easy 5 - minute walk to the apartment with no steps of bridges to cross. You can also take a water taxi from the airport. This is expensive but would bring you very close to the apartment in under 30 minutes. Ryanair fles to Venice Treviso - a 45 minute coach journey into the city.Arrival by car, taxi or coach brings you to Piazzale Roma or by train to Venice Santa Lucia - a 15 minute walk to the apartment or catch the No 1 Vaporetto to the Ca' Rezzonico stop on the Grand Canal.When you make a booking with us we will send or e-mail you an information pack with directions to the apartment, map, and advice on airport transfers. There is an "Information and Advice" folder in the apartment with details of local shops bars and restaurants etc.
