The property is in the beautiful Forest of Dean, located off the B4136 between Gloucester and Monmouth just outside Coleford in Gloucestershire. It is situated in the Forest of Dean in the beautiful Wye Valley. An area of outstanding Natural Beauty. Most of our visitors travel by car as it is useful to be able to get about during your stay. However, Lydney station has regular trains from Gloucester and our local taxi service is very accommodating and will drive down our track to collect and to drop off. Access is down a Forest England track which is not recognised by SAT NAV so detailed directions will be sent on booking.

We recommend our guests have a car as the public transport is fairly limited. However, we do have a reliable taxi service we recommend. The nearest train station is in Lydney, about 10 miles away. The nearest shops about 1.5 to 2 miles away. 2 pubs can be walked to across the fields. And of course, the walks are amazing way to see the wonderful sites of the Forest of Dean.
