Come raggiungere la struttura
From Auckland per car on HW1 to Kawakawa, then HW 11 to Opua. There on the car-ferry to Okiato. Ferry runs every 10 min until 10pm. No reservation necessary. (one way NZ $ 15.50)
In Okiato up the hill about 200 m turn into first road on the left, Okiato Road.
Aimeo Cottage is down the road on the right hand side, number 26, the former B&B sign is still on the drive way.
Please call us on 027 27 22 393 once you have passed Whangarei. From there it is about one more hour driving. So I can be at the Aimeo, to welcoming you.

A walk way was established in 2010 and finished several years ago which leads you from Okiato through bush area, mangroves and over a board walk to Oyster farms and finally to Russell in Kororareka Bay. The walk takes about 3 hours one way. In an eight minutes car drive you can reach Russell township with Supermarket, Pharmacy, Restaurants, Take Away , Gift Shops and Art Galley etc. And all excursions by sea start from Russell wharf.
