You will need to hire a rental car from the airport. The 2 hour drive north along the Captain Cook Highway is very scenic. Keep heading north past Port Douglas. through Mossman and turn right at the Cape Tribulation turn-off. Cross the Daintree River on the ferry and continue on this road until you come to Turpentine Road (you'll see a large sign for the butterfly museum) turn left and follow it to the end where you come to a T intersection. Turn left onto Stonewood Road and follow it to the end. Daintree Secrets is signposted at the end on the left. Take the driveway down to the house. There is a large flat area for parking right beside the house. Welcome! You have arrived. Enjoy your stay!

You need to hire a car from Cairns to get to the Daintree. There is no public transport in the area. There is no need to hire a 4wd, But an SUV may be required in the wet season as there are a few small creek crossings in the area. We recommend hiring a car a soon as you have booked your holiday.
