Drive north from Inverness and take the left hand exit at the Skiach junction heading up over the Struie to Bonar Bridge. Follow this road north through Lairg, up past Altnaharrah and towards Tongue. At the war memorial junction at Tongue turn right and follow the sign posts to Bettyhill (13 miles). When you reach the Welcome to Bettyhill sign, cross the cattle grid, and just a little further along this road you will see a road to your left and a sign saying 'Invernaver'. Follow this road and John Navers is the first White House you will come to (it has the number 82 on the wall). Coming from the East you pass through Bettyhill, cross the metal bridge over the river Naver, up the brae and Invernaver is to the right.
