So, you have a huge area of England to explore. It is also possible to travel around the region by rail. Ivybridge railway station can be reached on foot from the cottage, though a taxi is preferable if you have luggage. Ivybridge sits on the main line between Exeter and Plymouth. The area is surprisingly well-serviced by rail links, with lots of stopping-off points along the way
