Leeds is a 45-60 minute drive, Manchester 60 minutes, Harrogate 35 minutes, Bradford 30 minutes, Preston 40 minutes, Halifax 40 minutes. Getting here by train is easy so that is an option if you want to hire a car locally in Skipton, or others in your party have a car.London Kings Cross station has half hourly trains north to Leeds (2 hours 10 mins) where you change for a local 40 minute train to Skipton (or 30 minutes to Cononley, the stop before Skipton and a short drive to our home).You can fly in to Leeds Bradford airport (45 minutes away) which has regular flights to the KLM European hub of Amsterdam and many other airports. Manchester Airport is another international gateway with frequent connections to London Heathrow and also direct flights to an increasing number of long haul destinations including the USA and Dubai.
