From M6 Penrith, take the A66 towards Keswick (17 miles) and continue along the A66 towards Cockermouth (10 miles). At the major roundabout (The Brewers Faye & Premier Inn) take the first left onto A5086 towards Egremont. Then take the first left (approximately 1 miles down the A5086) at Eaglesfield Paddle school crossroads, signposted for Lorton. Then take the first right, signposted for Brandlingill and Mosser. Follow the road for approximately one and half miles. Wood Farm is to be found along this road just after the second very sharp right hand bend, on your right. Access to the cottage is after 3.00pm on day of arrival and departure is by 10.00am.

Please follow our directions and remain on the A66. Sat Nav takes you the shortest way over Whinlatter which is scenic but convoluted and up a dirt track which is not really suitable for cars.
