The Old Inn is located in a green valley in Northern Tuscany, near the town of Pistoia. This is a perfect location to enjoy the Apennine's environment and to reach Tuscany's main destinations (Florence, Lucca, Pisa and the Versilia riviera are within an hour drive distance). It is also conveniently positioned with respect to the Abetone area's ski slopes and to the international airports of Pisa, Florence and Bologna.
How to reach us from Pistoia's "A11" highway exit: follow directions to Modena or Abetone. Drive along the SR66 road for about 15 km. You will find the property's parking on your right, just after a Tamoil petrol station.

Having a car to move around is recommended. The nearest shop is 1 km away and can be reached by a beautiful path in the forest. There is a bus line COPIT number 54 relying the mountain villages to Pistoia railway station. Unfortunately there is just a bus per hour and only until 8 pm. We recommend driving cars to fully enjoy the surrounding area. Anyway, taxis are available from and to Pistoia station and town center. The nearest railway station is that of Pracchia but we usually advise to take the train in Pistoia when visiting Florence. There are 3 trains every hour leading directly to Florence central station. There are very cheap parking places near Pistoia station.
