The house is a typical traditional Andalusian town house in the barrio Hondillo, the oldest in the small mountain town of Lanjarón. Lanjaron is nationally known for it's healing thermal waters and has a big spa with many treatments available. The whole area is breathtakingly beautiful, set in a natural reserve with views over majestic mountains. Once you park on the main street you reach the house via a picturesque backstreet then walking under part of another house which gives way to a small courtyard. The house is situated up a small flight of stairs. The neighborhood is calm and peaceful with some really nice and helpful neighbors. The access to the house has about 10/11 steps up.

There is a small distance from where one parks to where the house is (via a back street that cars cannot drive through) then a flight of stairs of about 10/11 steps to get to the front door. Be prepared to walk a little, but only about 3 minutes! There are only views to the courtyard from all of the windows of the house, so it is a house to be used as a good and peaceful base to explore, not for the views!!!
