Upon arrival in St. Thomas grab your bags and walk outside to where the taxis are located. Tell them you want to go to Crown Bay Marina. It is only a few miles from the airport. The rates are set by the government so the charge is the same regardless of which taxi you use. You will be dropped off in front of Gourmet Galley (a small, expensive grocery store) that is right next to Tickles Restaurant and Bar, which is where the Water Island ferry departs. If you are arriving in the afternoon, we suggest you grab dinner at Tickles. Also, you may want to pick up a few groceries for the next day at Gourmet Galley. The boat departs from Tickles every hour on the hour.
