ENG Directions to reach the apartment:

BY CAR

If you're driving on the A1 highway heading to Florence, exit when you see the sign "Firenze Sud". Continue straight and cross the river Arno. At the first stop light, turn left onto Via Enrico de Nicola. At the first roundabout, turn right onto Via del Casaggio, cross the main road and, at the fifth roundabout, turn right onto Via Aldo Palazzeschi. At the first roundabout, turn left onto Via della Torre and then right onto Via Gabriele D'Annunzio. Keep following this road that leads you uphill until you reach Settignano's main square. Cross the square, pass through a bottleneck and then turn left onto Via Desiderio da Settignano. A few meters and you are there! The apartment will be on your right.

BY BUS

Take Bus n.10 (Destination Settignano) from the city center. It leaves from Piazza S. Marco and tickets are available at newsagents', tobacconists, automatic ticket machines and via the iOS and Android app "Ataf 2.0". If you arrive at the Santa Maria Novella Train Station, take bus n.1, 6, 17 or 23 to reach Piazza S. Marco. Once you're on bus n.10, get off at the end of the line, walk Via S. Romano for a few meters and then turn left onto Via Desiderio da Settignano. The apartment will be on your right.

FROM THE AIRPORT (Florence-Peretola)

From there you can reach the SMN train station in 25 minutes by shuttle bus (it's called Volainbus. It costs 6€ one way and 10€ A/R while the taxi asks for 20€). From the station, take bus n.1, 6, 17 or 23 to reach Piazza San Marco where you can catch bus n.10 to Settignano. Get off at the end of the line, walk Via San Romano for a few meters and then turn left onto Via Desiderio da Settignano. The apartment will be on your right.

You can also take a taxi but it can be VERY expensive, something around 30/40 €. Anyway, you may want to ask the driver before you get in.

Per chi viaggia in auto: autostrada A1- Firenze Sud è a soli 10 minuti; ottimo per collegamenti con Siena, Lucca, Pisa, Chianti, Grosseto e molte altre destinazioni facilmente raggiungibili.

Se viaggiate in auto dalla A1 in direzione Firenze, uscire a " Firenze Sud ".

Proseguire fino a che la strada non passa sopra il fiume Arno.

Al primo semaforo, girare a sinistra in via Enrico de Nicola.

Alla prima rotonda girare a destra in via del Casaggio.

Attraversare la strada principale e alla quinta rotonda girare a destra in via Aldo Palazzeschi.

Alla prima rotonda girare a sinistra in via della Torre.

Proseguire attraverso la strada principale e svoltare a destra in via Gabriele d 'Annunzio.

Percorrere tutta via Gabriele d 'Annunzio, entrare in Settignano e proseguite in via S. Romano. Dopo uno "stretto" troverete un bivio, girare a sinistra in via Desiderio da Settignano (noterete, all'angolo, il wine bar "La sosta del Rossellino") poco più avanti sarete a destinazione.

Per raggiungere Casa Desiderio a Settignano in autobus, si deve prendere l'autobus numero 10 ATAF , in direzione "Settignano" scendere al capolinea "Settignano" e a piedi prendere via di S.Romano e camminare fino al primo bivio, girare a sinistra in via Desiderio da Settignano poco più avanti sarete a destinazione.
