Put in CO1 1HB (west stockwell street)
The High st is now blocked off, by car, you have to enter west stockwell st from the bottom via st Peters st.
This will take you to the octagon roundabout in town centre take the 2nd exit (to CO11HB) go straight ahead into St. Peter’s then 1st right into shortcut Rd then left into northgate st. Then right(West stockwell st) and left, then bear right, up into west Stockwell Street where it used to say no entry,
go up the hill in West Stockwell st (CO1 1HE Baye House) to the church on the left ..my house is opposite ..and just before is a road on the right that says Dutch Quarter apartments. Just pull in there. (If you get to pizza express you've gone too far!
Park in front of the three white garage doors on the left snugly so we can get 4 cars in close together.

A 15 min ride takes you to West Mersea famous for seafood restaurants, beautiful harbour sunsets and crabbing for the kids and then there is the lovely sandy and craggy beach of East Mersea....there are also the beautiful beach and shops of Frinton and of course the amusements of Clacton pier. There is a beautiful spa in Thorpe le soken on the way to Frinton on Sea highly recommend for hen trips and special days out. Half an hour away takes you to beautiful walks in constable country, pub lunches and the Munnings Museum. Also there is the beautiful historical villages of Long Mielford and Lavenham.
