Car

We recommend traveling by car.

Coming from Olsztyn via the main road (number 16) turn right in Marcinkowo towards Karwie. It’s a tiny road and may be easy to miss. Look out for the Market shop: the road to us is right opposite. Then follow the signs for 1.5 km. The distance from Mrągowo town centre to us is only 5 km. Mrągowo and Marcinkowo has no parking charges (except secure parks), so arriving by car may be a good option.

Bus

We are located a 13 min walk from the (only) bus stop in Marcinkowo. Local public bus service to and from Mrągowo for free. The stop “Marcinkowo” is the terminal stop of lines 1 and 2 and also the closest to us. No charges for tickets.

Various regional bus services operate also from the stop “Marcinkowo“. Alternatively you can exit at the main bus station in Mrągowo and take a local bus or taxi from there to Marcinkowo.

Train

There is no longer a direct train connection to Mrągowo, the closest train station is Olsztyn (station: Olsztyn Główny) or Kętrzyn. Regional busses and minibuses to Marcinkowo and Mragowo at the main bus station located in front or next to train station. You can find a connection to Marcinkowo (closest) or Mrągowo (requires additional local transport to Marcinkowo).

Taxi

The local taxi company that we recommend is ‘WaMa Radio Taxi’, operating 24/7. The drivers are reliable and know the place really well :)

The main taxi rank in Mrągowo is at plac Rocha (official name: Plac Marszałka Józefa Piłsudskiego). Taxis can also be found next to the main bus station in Mrągowo.

Charge from/to Mrągowo to/from us is approx. 20 zł.

Plane

The airport Olsztyn-Mazury (SZY) is approx. 55 km away from our place.

There are national and international flight connections. At the moment there are flights to/from Cracow, Dortmund, London (Luton and Stansted) and Cologne.

Alternatively, you can fly to Warsaw or Gdańsk and take the train, bus or rent a car from there.
