You can easily access Lefkas by car, as it is one of the only two islands in Greece that has land access from the mainland! If you arrive in Athens, it is a 4.5 hour drive, or you can take the intercity bus (KTEL) directly to Lefkas for a 5 hour drive. If you come from Thessaloniki, you can use the Egnatia Highway and with a 4.5 hour drive you can enjoy the beaches of Lefkas! From Preveza (Aktion) airport it's only a 25 minute drive, with daily intercity bus connection as well!

Anche se la città è molto piccola e può essere esplorata a piedi, per goderti le spiagge, probabilmente avrai bisogno di una macchina, dato che i servizi di autobus per la maggior parte delle spiagge sono limitati. È possibile prendere l'autobus urbano locale per le spiagge di Kastro e Agios Ioannis, o il servizio di autobus interno per Agios Nikitas, Milos e Kathisma a ovest, o Nikiana, Nydri e Vasiliki a est ea sud.
