Come raggiungere la struttura
The best route is through the New Forest to Leamington, and then Wightlink ferry to Yarmouth. The scenery through the New Forest is stunning, and you arrive on the island a few minutes from the cottage.
Alternative ferry crossings are Southampton to Cowes (Red Funnel) and Portsmouth to Fishbourne (Wightlink).
As you leave Yarmouth ferry terminal, turn right on the main roundabout and and cross the bridge over the River Yar.
Follow the main road as it bears left 90 degrees.
After about 400m turn right, following the brown sign to 'Fort Victoria Country Park'.
Continue over a small bridge, past some bungalows and over a hill, at the bottom of which the road bends left.
100m after this bend there is a dirt track to the left which leads to the cottage car park.

Il cottage è un 3-4 minuti (o 15 minuti a piedi) lungo la costa dalla città portuale storica di Yarmouth, il punto di arrivo per il traghetto da Lymington nella New Forest. Se non si vuole portare una macchina, c'è una buona rete di autobus in tutta l'isola, una sosta regolare di autobus alla fine della strada, ed una fermata a richiesta al forte. È inoltre possibile noleggiare biciclette presso la vecchia stazione ferroviaria vicino al fiume a Yarmouth. Se vi piace camminare tutta la zona è un paradiso. Il 15 minuti a piedi Yarmouth corre lungo la spiaggia e via costiera a bordo del porto (Sandhart Beach), che è possibile camminare, o prendere il £ 1.50 porto taxi d'acqua direttamente in città.
